1. Bookings & Payment

All studio hire bookings must be made through the Canvas | 23 online scheduling platform (Acuity Scheduling). Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Canvas | 23 reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled booking time are eligible for a full studio credit valid for 6 months. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled booking are non-refundable and non-transferable. No-shows forfeit the full booking amount. Canvas | 23 is not responsible for cancellations due to circumstances outside our control.

3. Rescheduling

Bookings may be rescheduled up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled session at no additional charge, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests within 48 hours are at the discretion of Canvas | 23.

4. Studio Access

Access codes are provided upon booking confirmation and are for the sole use of the named booking party. Access codes must not be shared with third parties. Canvas | 23 reserves the right to revoke access at any time in the event of a breach of these terms.

5. Care of the Studio

The client is responsible for the studio and its contents for the duration of their booking. The studio must be left in the same condition in which it was found. This includes removal of rubbish, repositioning of furniture and props, and general tidying.

A $500 repair fee will be charged for any damage to the CYC infinity wall including scuffs, marks, footprints, holes, dents or other damage that requires repairing. Damage to equipment, props, or the studio space beyond fair wear and tear will be charged to the client at replacement or repair cost. The curve on the infinity wall in not a weight bearing wall.

6. Prohibited Uses

The studio must not be used for any unlawful purpose. The following are strictly prohibited: adult or explicit content of any kind, use of open flames or pyrotechnics, use of glitter, confetti, sand, or similar materials without prior written consent, smoking or vaping inside the studio, and any activity that poses a risk to the safety of persons or the studio.

7. Liability

Canvas | 23 accepts no liability for loss, damage, or injury sustained by clients, guests, or third parties during a booking. Clients use the studio at their own risk. It is the client's responsibility to ensure adequate public liability insurance is held where required.

8. Equipment Add-On

Equipment hired as an add-on is provided in good working order. Any damage to hired equipment will be charged to the client at replacement cost. Equipment must be handled with care and returned in the condition in which it was provided.

9. Canvas Creatives

Canvas Creatives are independent contractors and are not employees of Canvas | 23. Any agreement between a client and a Canvas Creative is a separate arrangement. Canvas | 23 accepts no liability for the work, conduct, or output of Canvas Creatives.

10. Memberships

Studio memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Hours do not roll over beyond the 3-month duration. Memberships may not be used for event hire, 8-hour full-day bookings, or equipment hire unless otherwise stated. Canvas | 23 reserves the right to cancel a membership in the event of a breach of these terms, without refund.

11. Photography & Content

Canvas | 23 may request to share content created in the studio on our social media channels for promotional purposes. We will always seek the client's permission before doing so. Clients may tag @canvas.23.windsor in their content — we love seeing what you create.

12. Privacy

Canvas | 23 collects personal information for the purpose of processing bookings and communicating with clients. We do not share your information with third parties without your consent. For full details, please contact us at canvas23.windsor@gmail.com.

13. Changes to Terms

Canvas | 23 reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
